The Norman Rockwell Exhibition (My Personal...
I just got back from a night out with my friend. The exhibition was PACKED with people. There was a line out of the door to get into the show. This was something I wasn’t expecting. It may have had something to do with the holiday season and the fact that the museum stays open the longest on Thursdays. I was very excited to see the show; luckily I had my museum pass for free...

Going to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit at the Dayton Art Institute today.
I recommend anyone (especially anyone interested in illustration) to go see it!
I wanted to practice drawing the human anatomy so I did what any artist would do. I got the biggest mirror I could find, took my clothes off and there you go! I’ve got a one on one life drawing session with myself. ;)

you-only-live-butts asked: Hi I'm in high school and I'm interested in pursuing a career in art. I was wondering what school you go to and if there was anything about art school that you didn't expect/wish you knew going into it. Your paintings are incredible, I'm a huge fan (:
shannancylovesyou asked: Your work is absolutely beautiful.
defaultingstars asked: Your art is genius! Thanks for culturing up my dashboard

It is almost the year 2012. Another year has finally reached its end. That means for me, it is almost my 19th birthday. I have so many goals for the new year. As always my most prevalent goal is to be a better painter than I was the year before. Being a student in an art college I am always trying to push myself in ways that I have never pushed myself before. That means pushing out all of the...

Art Basel and the Economy (Hope is not lost!)
It seems like the economy is getting better. There were more people down at Art Basel this year buying artwork. Hope is not lost! =) It seems like I don’t have to go to law school after all!
The horrible truth.
I know it is necessary as an artist, but it is so disheartening to know that a lot of the work I create throughout my college career will be mostly overlooked until my senior year and gradschool years… I’ll look back on it and think it is crap anyway haha.
Oh well, LETS MAKE THE BEST OF IT! =D

Finals have just ended for me yesterday. I finally get to just relax and not worry about much of anything for a bit. I get to go home to Ohio tomorrow and just relax…
